Crispy orzo cakes
Try these as an accompaniment to a meal instead of potatoes.

1 cup cooked orzo (rissoni)
2 tablespoons flour
1 tablespoons finely chopped chives
1/4 cup oil

Boil pasta as per the instructions on the packet.

Mix the ingredients and rest for 15 minutes.

Heat frypan with good coating of cooking/olive oil. Spoon mixture into little cakes and fry both sides until crisp and golden brown.

Then transfer to oven at 200ºC for 10 minutes to bake.

Serves: 2
Preparation time: 30 minutes.
Cooking time: 20 minutes.
Total time: 50 minutes.
