Feijoa relish


12 chopped feijoas
2 chopped apples
2 chopped onions
1 cup vinegar
1 tablespoons mixed spice
1 tablespoons salt
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 cups brown sugar


Peel and chop fruit and onions. Put in large saucepan, add vinegar and boil for 30 minutes (sitrring frequently). Add remaining ingredients and cook until blended. Bottle and seal when cold.


Preparation time: 20 minutes.
Cooking time: 45 minutes.
Total time: 65 minutes.
